About This Product

A wellman is a manhole/vertical shaft constructed using the PC well construction method. The dimensions are different from standard PC well products, and the inner diameter is the standard value. Standardized for inner diameters of 2.0 to 4.0 m, and has been used up to a maximum inner diameter of 7.6 m.

The construction is done in the following steps. The precast blocks are press-fitted using the post-tension method, applying prestress to each block. When the cutting edge reaches the specified depth, a bottom slab (underwater) concrete is placed at the tip. After changing the water inside, intermediate floor slabs, steps, etc. will be constructed to complete the manhole.
