■Summary
SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES offers SILEX II CLEANTEX as a fully automated dry-in/dry-out solution for wet processing of Si wafers in standard and high-efficiency cell lines. Efficient cleaning steps are an essential requirement to improve cell efficiency and reduce operating costs. The ozone-based cleaning function applied to the SILEX II wet bench combines efficient organic and metal removal with appropriate surface preparation.
The process is simple due to the low cost and consumption of chemicals. With its control and high metal removal efficiency, ozonation cleaning baths are a perfect alternative to the traditional expensive multi-step RCA cleaning known in the solar and semiconductor industry.
