About This Product

■FeaturesWe offer two methods: grafting and coating to improve the affinity of liquid to the substrate surface, or so-called "wettability."

■Graft processingThe substrate (object) is exposed to a highly reactive plasma gas. The interaction between the substrate and the gas chemically changes the properties of the substrate surface. In this way, the surface of the base material is graft-polymerized. Adjustments are made by controlling the composition of the gas.

■Coating treatmentAdds vapor of specific molecules to the plasma gas. The added steam is activated by the energy in the plasma. It then reacts with the surface of the base material to form a surface film. This process is called APP ECVD (Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition). The properties of precursors can be used to deposit coatings with very specific properties.

■A wide range of effective surface functionalizations- Stable and low surface energy (less than 20 mN/m) and adjustable release properties.
・Adjustment of hydrophilic/hydrophobic balance and biocompatibility.
・It has a stable high surface energy of up to 72 mN/m and excellent wettability and adhesion (can be prevented from fogging).
・Functionalization and grafting by covalent bonding.
- Optimized surface chemistry: amine/amide-imide equilibrium.
・Nano coating (silica, silicon, etc.).
・Compatible with various base materials
- Polymer films, textiles, woven and non-woven fabrics (PP, BOPP, PE, PET, PA, PVC, FEP, PTFE, ETFE, ECTFE, PVDF, PVF, PEEK, etc.).

・Print with all types of inks (water-based, solvent-based, UV/EB crosslinkable, digital)
・Improves adhesion of lamination, metallization, and varnish

・Reduction of gas consumption
- Eliminates the formation of powder deposits and greatly reduces the need for frequent cleaning of the reactor
・Continuous processing of several thousand meters of substrates on an industrial scale
・Consideration for the environment and the human body
- It is possible to process only one side of the film or both sides with different functions. Subsequent applications will open up new possibilities such as adhesion and lamination.
