■Advantages of IH (high frequency induction heating) powder coating system
・Skip the degreasing process: High-frequency induction (IH) heating eliminates the need for a degreasing process before painting. Eliminating the need for a degreasing process improves work efficiency and reduces costs.
・Significant reduction in drying time As the paint is heated evenly from the inside, even and efficient drying is possible.Drying time is significantly reduced compared to conventional methods.
・Achieve space saving for equipment. Shortening drying time allows for saving of work space and increased efficiency of the production line. It can be about 1/3 compared to general equipment.
・Uniform heating: By heating the entire part uniformly, the risk of deformation and distortion of the part is reduced and quality can be maintained consistently.
・Improved energy efficiency Since IH heating directly heats parts, it is said to have high energy conversion efficiency. Contributes to energy saving and decarbonization with little energy waste
■Characteristics of powder coating
There are two characteristics of powder coating: electrostatic powder coating method and fluidized dip coating method.
・In the electrostatic powder coating method, a spray gun with high voltage is used to apply static electricity to the powder coating on the object being coated.
・The fluid immersion coating method is a method in which the workpiece is immersed in paint.
Each has its own characteristics, but both can achieve efficient painting.
Advantages of powder coating
■Lead time and process can be shortened
Powder coating forms a thicker coating than liquid coating. Therefore, there is no need to apply multiple coats to achieve a thick coat, and it can be completed with one coat. This allows the process to be shortened.
■Economical and environmentally friendly
Powder coating makes it easy to recycle and reuse paint. Excess paint and peeled paint can be collected and reused. This reduces the amount of paint used, making it an economical and environmentally friendly painting method.
