Glass lining is more than just a coating. Silica-based glass enamel is melted onto steel sheets at high temperatures and chemically welded to the steel sheets to form synthetic glass/steel panels. A steel plate that has been subjected to the glass lining process in which glass is heat-welded is called a glass-lined steel plate panel. Glass-lined steel panels are highly resistant to chemicals. It is also characterized by strong corrosion resistance and little fading or discoloration. The result is cost-effective storage. In this way, the glass-lined steel panels used in "glass-lined tanks" exhibit excellent corrosion resistance in various corrosive environments and are economical materials, even compared to other materials intended for corrosion prevention. In addition, all glass-lined steel plates have passed strict test conditions.
