About This Product

Organ-on-a-Chip, a biofunctional chip developed for constructing in vitro drug discovery models, can easily culture cells and tissues in fluid microfluid, which is different from conventional static culture. Masu. Since it is possible to create a culture environment that more closely resembles that of living organisms, it reduces the need for animal experiments and reduces the time and effort spent on drug discovery.

■Organ-on-a-Chip configuration

Micronit's Organ-on-a-Chip is a resealable three-layer chip made of glass and membrane. Cells can be seeded on both the front and back sides of the pore membrane, and various perfusion cell culture environments can be created within the formed channel chamber. The resealable chamber makes it very easy to seed cells before culturing and access cells after culturing.

■Chip holder for Organ-on-a-Chip

The dedicated chip holder securely fixes the Organ-on-a-Chip to prevent leakage, and at the same time allows for easy tubing connections.

■Organ-on-a-Chip usage example

Various Organ-on-a-Chips have been formed and studied, such as GUT-on-a-Chip, Liver-on-a-Chip, Lung-on-a-Chip, and Skin-on-a-Chip.

■Providing total solutions combining pumps

By mounting the Organ-on-a-Chip on Micronit's dedicated chip holder and combining it with a pump, it is possible to provide various flow environments for cell culture. Since the liquid is pushed out using the force of air, it is possible to transfer liquid with high precision and less pulsation.
