About This Product
A valuable metal reduction recycling melting furnace that carbon-reduces copper and precious metals contained in the incineration residue of waste substrates, and metal oxides contained in by-products of the stainless steel manufacturing process.
■Equipment features
・By submerging the electrode into the molten slag, highly efficient melting is possible due to the Joule heat generated directly in the slag.
・Metal and slag can be easily separated by completely melting the processed material in the furnace.
■Application examples
・Incineration residue of electronic boards (gold, silver, copper, lead, tin, etc.)
・Various waste catalysts (white metals, vanadium, molybdenum, etc.)
・Metal melting furnace dust and pickling neutralized sludge (stainless steel)
- Molten metal retention and separation of metal-containing slag (non-ferrous smelting slag, etc.)
・Incineration residue obtained by removing the resin content (combustible content) of waste circuit boards in an existing incinerator, etc.

■Metal reduction reaction example
・Nickel: NiO+C → Ni+CO
・Chromium: Cr203+3C → 2Cr+3CO
・Iron: FeO+C → Fe+CO
・Iron: Fe203+3C → 2Fe+3CO
・Manganese: MnO+C → Mn+CO
The above reduction reaction progresses in the furnace, and metal is recovered from the oxide raw material.
