■Product description
For roller chain transmission, the dimensional accuracy of the sprocket that engages with the chain is important. Sprockets for roller chains are manufactured to a variety of specifications including ANSI, JIS, and BS standard sprocket materials and shapes.
Snap Idle is a drive chain tensioning device that can be installed in a "floating" state, with a completely different structure from conventional idler devices and tightener devices.
■Structure
The link plate of the chain is sandwiched between special resin "carriers" to adjust the slack of the chain. A "strap" is used for adjustment, and there are two types of straps: ratchet type and bolt type.

■Precautions when handling snap idols
- Snap idols are manufactured with great care, but if selection, handling, or maintenance is incorrect or inadequate, problems such as falling off or damage may occur.
・For selection, handling, and maintenance of snap idols, please refer to the instruction manual and catalog before use.
- Lubricating the snap idler is effective in extending its life, so we recommend regular lubrication.
