■Product description
For roller chain transmission, the dimensional accuracy of the sprocket that engages with the chain is important. Sprockets for roller chains are manufactured to a variety of specifications including ANSI, JIS, and BS standard sprocket materials and shapes.
Standard sprockets are designed and manufactured based on a wealth of experience, so they can fully demonstrate the performance of roller chain transmission.
■Selecting the number of sprocket teeth
For smooth transmission, it is advantageous for the number of teeth on the small sprocket to be as large as possible, and an odd number of teeth of 15 to 17 or more is appropriate. Select 14 sheets or less only when the speed is very low and there is no shock.
*The minimum number of sprocket teeth is 9.
■Wrap angle of sprocket and roller chain
The appropriate wrapping angle between the sprocket and roller chain is about 120 to 180 degrees.
*When used for hanging, a wrapping angle of 90 degrees or more is required.
