About This Product

■Summary

In addition to improving performance, we are focusing on developing eco-friendly materials that are environmentally friendly. BCF (Bulked Continuous Filaments) is a multi-filament yarn with crimps, mainly to give the yarn itself a sense of volume, and is used in a wide range of applications such as indoor and vehicle carpets and entrance mats. Recently, we have been focusing on developing environmentally friendly products, such as jointly developing floor mats made from corn for use in hybrid and electric vehicles. Features/Applications

■Main ingredient

PTT (polytrimethylene terephthalate) derived from plants (corn)

■Characteristics

- Soft and returns to its original shape after stretching (elastic recovery). - Has durability equivalent to nylon 6 (abrasion resistance). - Difficult to penetrate water-soluble dirt (stain resistance). - Plant-based and environmentally friendly (reduced environmental impact).
