About This Product

■Number of theoretical plates

Using n-heptane and methylcyclohexane as components for measuring the number of theoretical plates, calculation was made using the following formula, and the value was 42 mmmm per plate with a column inner diameter of 20 mmφ. Fenske's formula.

■Shape

As shown in the diagram, a glass tube with an outer diameter of 3 mmφ is cut diagonally at an angle of approximately 10°, and the thickness is approximately 1 to 1.5 mm.

■Processing

After cutting, it is immersed in hydrogen fluoride water to reduce the diameter and thickness by erosion and create fine irregularities on the surface, which increases the contact between gas and liquid, improves heat exchange, and increases the wetting effect. did.
