About This Product
Optical rain sensor is a low-cost rain gauge that uses infrared light. This is the same method used in rain sensors for automobiles in recent years. There are no mechanical moving parts, and each rainfall sensitivity setting allows you to finely set the rain from the beginning to the end.
In addition, as a rain sensor, it has an output for controlling rain-related equipment, agricultural facilities, etc., so it can be used in a wide variety of ways, such as opening and closing awnings in open stores and opening and closing skylights in greenhouses.
■Features
・Highly sensitive rain sensor that uses infrared light beam for measurement (0.2, 0.01, 0.001mm DIP SW settings)
・Since the sensing part does not use a mechanical or conductive type, there is no corrosion or contact failure, and it can be used stably over a long period of time.
・It outputs pulses corresponding to the amount of rainfall and can replace a rain gauge that falls over.
Our recommended data logger: Can be connected to a SIM communication type SIM card logger or a data recording type memory logger.
