About This Product

The Biral SWS-200 visibility meter uses a forward scattering method to measure attenuation changes in visibility distance due to the effects of rain, fog, snowstorms, etc. In addition to the measurement range (MOR) of 10m to 20km (standard), it also supports MOR of up to 75km. This is a highly accurate and highly reliable visibility meter that is compliant with WMO (World Meteorological Organization) and ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and is used by public institutions around the world. Data output can be RS232, RS422, RS485 and analog output. Outputs EXCO damping coefficient and WMO current weather code (4680). It is also possible to measure RVR runway visual distance as an option.
