About This Product

Lufft's MARWIS road weather sensor monitors road conditions (temperature, water surface height, dew point, road conditions, dry, wet, wet, snow, ice, ice occupancy, humidity, friction), etc. for the management of major roads and runways. This information can be used to judge the operation status. MARWIS is available in road-mounted and vehicle-mounted versions. You can also attach a protective cover to protect the equipment from mud and other dirt. For vehicle-based movement observation, road sensors are installed at a distance of 0.5 to 2 meters above the vehicle and measure the road surface conditions while driving at a frequency of up to 100 times per second. Also, as a road installed type, you can get information on major road points. By incorporating these systems into existing winter road maintenance and monitoring networks such as road surface ice sensors, they will be even more useful for road safety management.
