We also correct machining errors and dimensional defects after alumite treatment. Anodized to accommodate dimensional tolerances within 0.005mm (5μm). When measuring after anodizing, are there any dimensional defects such as loosening of screw holes, reamed holes, shafts, etc., errors or defects in machining, or play caused by alumite, etc., which may cause the product to be discarded?
Our alumite treatment can handle H7 and H7 tolerances for precision object processing (H treatment), and has excellent dimensional stability. In addition to processing within tolerance according to the dimensions according to customer requests, we can also use alumite processing to correct products with dimensional tolerance defects. Furthermore, we also repair protruding areas such as dents and uneven scratches that tend to occur during machining, and anodize smooth surfaces.
■ General alumite overview
Alumite is a type of surface treatment for aluminum, and is an oxide film produced by electrochemically treating aluminum in liquid with an anode. It is also called anodizing treatment according to JIS standards. Alumite is made up of a porous layer and a barrier layer, and its structure is a honeycomb-like hexagonal column with an extremely small hole of 0.01 to 0.03 μm in the center and a thick wall. By changing its state, it gives properties that the original material lacked, such as increasing corrosion resistance and adhesion to paint.
In addition to general alumite processing technology, we also have the technology to handle processes that require dimensional accuracy (H7, H7 tolerance), dimensional correction after alumite, correction of machining errors, scratches, dents, etc. We can also handle any minor corrections that may be necessary.
