■Overview of heat dissipating and endothermic alumite [EMCO®]

Conventional semiconductor heat dissipation has a mechanism that increases the heat dissipation of the heat source itself, so the problem is that heat gets trapped inside the casing, raising the internal temperature. EMCO, developed by our company, is an aluminum surface treatment film with high total emissivity (absorption rate) in infrared to far infrared rays (up to 25μm). Ordinary black alumite has a total emissivity of about 83%, and in the wavelength range of 3 to 6 μm, where the influence of heat is particularly large, the emissivity is low at 60 to 65%, but EMCO has an absorption rate of up to about 98%. It has a much higher rate and is the most suitable film for heat radiation. EMCO is a method in which the casing is treated to lower the internal temperature in closed areas such as the casing, absorbing a large amount of heat from the internal surface of the casing, and radiating a large amount of heat to the outside. Therefore, wasteful external heat can be taken in again through the absorber, and it is expected that energy will be reused.
