About This Product

■Features

Partial hard anodizing is possible. Hard alumite with emphasis on dimensional accuracy. Our hard alumite (HA) is processed close to JIS and MIL standards, and has excellent hardness (around 400HV) and wear resistance (100ds/μm). Furthermore, its corrosion resistance is at a level that fully meets MIL standards. In addition, dimensional accuracy H7 and H7 tolerances are possible, and the surface roughness is Ra2.0 or less, making it possible to mask flat surfaces, grooves, holes, screws, etc. We also offer partial hard alumite that can be partially coated with a film. Suitable materials include pure aluminum and corrosion-resistant alloys.

■Hard alumite [HA] overview

Our hard alumite treatment (HA treatment) has a medium hardness (400HV) and a film thickness of 30 to 100μm. A major feature of our hard alumite is that the increase in film dimension is 40 to 50%, so by predicting the film position from the machined surface, we can determine the film thickness and apply it to dimensional tolerances. is. By controlling the coating thickness, it is possible to keep the workpiece within the originally required tolerances, even if the machined dimensions are inconsistent or the dimensions are incorrect. Regarding surface roughness, it is possible to process with Ra2μm or less. There are two methods for partial hard anodizing. One is a masking method that prevents the film from being applied to one part of the entire product, and the other is our original method that applies the film to only one part. Partial hard alumite can be used for additional processing after completion or for additional processing of areas that have been repaired due to scratches.
