About This Product

■Features ``Heat Black'' is a special black alumite that does not discolor or fade even when heated at 300℃ for 14 days or 500℃ for 1 hour for short periods of time. If you use black alumite-treated products at high temperatures, do you notice discoloration, fading, cracking, or peeling of the film due to changes over time? Our heat black is a hard, scratch-resistant black alumite that does not discolor even when heated to 300°C for a long time or 500°C for a short time, which is higher than the recrystallization temperature of aluminum. ■Overview of heat-resistant black alumite [Heat Black®] Black alumite retains its color at low temperatures, but at high temperatures above 250℃, which is the recrystallization temperature of aluminum, it gradually changes color or fades. The reason for this is that the dye in the film's micropores tends to decompose and decolorize due to heat treatment or exposure to sunlight. In addition, the force generated by the difference in linear thermal expansion coefficient caused by heating causes cracks and peeling of the film, causing the alumite to lose its original function. If exposed for a long time at temperatures above the recrystallization temperature of 250°C, the characteristics of the material itself and plastic deformation will occur, so although the film will be retained, the material will not be able to withstand it. Taking these into account, we conduct tests under harsh conditions of 300℃ for 14 days. The heat black developed by our company is a heat-resistant and wear-resistant film that does not discolor for a long time even in an environment of 300℃, which is higher than the recrystallization temperature of aluminum, and does not cause any visible cracks. Normal black alumite begins to discolor in one hour at 300℃, or half a day at most, but with our heat black, there is no noticeable discoloration or cracking even after 14 days at 300℃ or 1 hour at 500℃. This is a revolutionary black alumite technology. ■Heat-resistant black alumite [Heat Black®] Applications Parts used for heat treatment or outdoor environments (sunlight/ultraviolet environments)
