About This Product

■Features

Dispels the conventional concept of hard alumite. Hard alumite that can be used with all aluminum alloys such as castings and aluminum die-casting. I want to achieve hardness and film thickness with hard alumite treatment. However, the materials that can actually be made are limited, and things don't always go as planned. In particular, hard alumite treatment of materials such as A2017 and ADC12 materials is difficult, and many companies are refusing to do so. Our SHA series can be hard anodized to suit various purposes, such as (1) various alloys, and (2) hardness.

■Special hard alumite [SHA series] overview

Conventional alumite and hard alumite treatments are suitable and unsuitable depending on the material. Therefore, even if you select a material that suits the intended purpose, there are many cases where you have no choice but to give up because the surface cannot be treated. In particular, hard alumite treatment is applied to aluminum castings and aluminum die-casting materials, such as aluminum + copper (Al-Cu system) or aluminum + silicon + copper (Al-Si-Cu system), so that the coating has the desired hardness and thickness. It is said to be difficult to secure sufficient amounts. Additionally, there is a concern that the material itself may dissolve if the treatment is forced. In order to solve these problems that occur with hard alumite treatment, we have developed a special hard alumite treatment (SHA series) that is not affected by the material. Our SHA treatment can handle the hardness and film thickness of aluminum die castings and castings that contain Si, Cu, Ni, etc., which were previously thought to be difficult to produce with alumite or hard alumite, depending on the purpose.
