About This Product

The MS sensor consists of a heater and a group of thermocouples, as shown in Figure 1. When a heater is heated with a constant power, the temperature (voltage output) of the sensor increases because the air surrounding the sensor has a small heat dissipation coefficient, making it difficult for heat to escape. When the sensor comes into contact with grout, concrete, etc. that have a large heat dissipation coefficient, heat is removed and the temperature (voltage output) decreases. In this way, by detecting the heat radiation coefficient of the material near the sensor by voltage measurement, it becomes a sensor that confirms the material and its state. Equipped with a compensation circuit to prevent measured values from being affected by ambient temperature. (Before energizing, it forms a differential circuit where A-B=0, so it is not affected by ambient temperature.)
