About This Product

This is a font drawing engine (rasterizer) that enables the installation of scalable fonts in embedded devices. The interface can be customized for cooperation with GUI tools and IP cores.

■Supports various font formats

Compatible with general-purpose format TrueType fonts and OpenType fonts, it is possible to use font data with high design quality.

■Lightweight font for embedded devices “DigiType Font”

TrueType fonts have glyph information as full outlines, but DigiType fonts have outline information for each stroke (stroke). By doing this, it is possible to make the file size of font data incredibly small.

■Compatible with Chinese national character standard GB18030 (license certificate issued by Chinese government agency)

Customers who adopt "DigiType API" + "DigiType Font (FDL)" will be issued a license certificate directly by the Information Processing Product Standards Conformity Inspection Center, a Chinese government agency.
