Overview

■With the inspection black light "UV Artel S" that emits strong ultraviolet rays, you can see oil residue, application status of anti-corrosion oil, etc., and fiber adhesion on the workpiece after cleaning.

UV Artel S is a black light (a light that emits ultraviolet rays). Black light is almost invisible to the human eye, but when an object is irradiated with black light, only the phosphor contained within it emits light. If the oil used at the manufacturing site contains fluorescent substances*1 that emit light, the oil remaining on the product will emit light when irradiated with UV Artel S, and it can be visually confirmed as ``oily residue after cleaning.'' You can check whether anti-corrosion oil, grease, etc. has been applied evenly, whether fibers are attached, etc. When troubles due to oil residue such as paint peeling occur, by using UV Artel S, you can use it as a management tool for quality improvement at your own cleaning site, without having to outsource the measurement of residual oil. In addition, by using fluorescent light emitted by UV light*2, it is possible to easily visualize fiber debris attached to materials on curved or uneven surfaces. *1 Oils such as petroleum-based mineral oils have the property of emitting fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light. *2 Clothes that are the source of textile waste (many commercially available white goods) use optical brighteners that emit light under ultraviolet light.
