■Summary

The only static eliminator that can completely eliminate static from plastic products. Eliminates static marks that cause uneven coating.

■What is “static mark”?

A charge pattern is a fine and dense mixture of positive and negative charges that is observed on the surface of insulating materials such as plastics (resins), and is also called a charged pattern. This is often caused by minute electrical discharges that occur when the surface of a product is subjected to corona discharge treatment or when a molded product is removed from a mold.If static marks remain, they can cause dust adhesion, clouding of vapor deposition, and uneven coating. . The trouble with static marks is that they cannot be measured with static electricity meters. Even if the static electricity is removed using a general static eliminator, the static electricity value is 0kV. Because it has a mixture of positive and negative charges, it appears to be uncharged to a static meter. For the same reason, it is difficult to completely remove static marks with general static eliminators (ionizers).

■Differences in the static electricity removal effect between general static electricity removal equipment and "high-density static electricity removal processing system for molded products"

To check for static marks, a special toner is sprayed onto the surface of the plastic product to make it visible. ・[Static mark before static electricity removal immediately after molding] Red is negatively charged, blue is positively charged ・[Static mark after static electricity removal with a general static electricity removal device] The amount of charge after static electricity removal is displayed as 0kV. However, a small charge remains. In particular, areas where red (minus) and blue (plus) are very close remain. ・[Static mark after high-density static electricity removal processing] The amount of charge after static electricity removal is displayed as 0kV. Even small static charges are completely removed, and once static marks are removed, they will never occur again.
