About This Product

Silk screen printing nameplates can be printed on metal materials such as stainless steel (SUS), brass (BS), and aluminum (AL), and resin materials such as polyester (PET), polycarbonate (PC), and vinyl chloride (PVC). This is a nameplate printed and processed.

■Characteristics of silk screen printed nameplates

・Since it is excellent in mass production, it is often used as mass-produced metal/resin nameplates. ・Because the ink layer is thick and has excellent weather resistance, it is also used as outdoor nameplates.

■Production process

Silk screen printed nameplates are manufactured using the following process. Plate making → Color toning → Silk screen printing → Baking/drying → (Protective tape finish) → (Double-sided tape finish) → External finish

■Special printing

・Anti-see-through treatment By printing on the back side using ink containing a large amount of pigment, we can prevent the product from showing through. Colors used include white, gray, and silver. PET, PC, PVC (transparent material) ・Glue printing Although the adhesive strength is lower than double-sided tape, it is possible to apply glue to specific parts of the product. ■Special processing

- Embossing: Pressing with a mold that has an uneven shape deforms the material and creates an uneven shape on the product. ・Bending Process A bending mold is used to deform the material through press processing to create a bent shape in the product.

■Design considerations

・The typical ink thickness for silk screen printed nameplates is approximately 10μ. ・I am not good at complex printing such as gradations and photos. Also, fine lines and letters may not be represented.

■Environmental response

We handle environmental surveys such as RoHS regulations, JAMA, JAMP (chemSHERPA), IMDS, REACH regulations (SVHC), etc.
