■Product overview

While next-generation sequencing (NGS) has significantly advanced clinical genetic research and personalized medicine, variant detection and interpretation requires ``a huge amount of information and time,'' ``accuracy of interpretation and its evidence,'' and ``analysis. A problem occurred that required the performance of the machine. Genoox's Franklin can help you solve that problem. By using this solution, you can not only significantly reduce the time it takes to research variants and their evidence information, but also select and prioritize important variants and view them in report format. Furthermore, it is easy to implement because it is used on a highly secure cloud (the cloud location can also be specified within Japan).This allows clinical geneticists and clinical testing to support faster and deeper variant interpretation Provided to researchers at facilities and pharmaceutical companies.

■Characteristics of Franklin

A cloud-based platform that detects/interprets and reports variants from NGS whole genome (WGS) or whole exome (WES) FASTQ. ・Interpretation of variants according to American College of Clinical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) guidelines ・Check variants and BAM files on genome browser ・Equipped with a unique algorithm for CNV (Copy Number Variation) detection ・Calculate frequency from multiple population databases including "j-Morp" ・phenotype-genotype correlation analysis based on literature/research community/Genoox database. ・Trio analysis of “patient + father + mother” ・Filtering of detected variants ・Amazon Web Services (AWS) server location can be specified within Japan (please contact us) ・Highly secure analysis environment (clears ISO27001, US HIPAA law, and GDPR, which is said to be the strictest personal information protection law in the world)
