About This Product

SmArc OS-Ⅶ is an improved ceramic coating that is a thin film of aluminum nitride chromium coating <OS-Ⅶ>. (This is a coating under special conditions, aiming for 0.5 microns on our test piece) Compared to <OS-VII>, which has a normal film thickness (2 μm), the film quality has been improved. Can be coated without damaging the shape of the base material, such as small diameter tools and molds where coating thickness is affected. We have actual experience with small-diameter reamers used in stainless steel micromachining and small-diameter punches for copper machining.
