About This Product

OS-CII is an improved ceramic coating made by adding silicon to chromium nitride (CrN). It has excellent adhesion resistance and wear resistance, and is ideal for cutting Ni and Cu alloys, as well as low-speed machining tools and general-purpose machining of iron-based raw materials with low speed and large depths. (The film forming conditions of the conventional <OS-C> have been optimized and upgraded)

■Application examples of ceramic coating <OS-CII>

Dry machining tools (low hardness materials), low speed cutting of low hardness materials below HRC40, heat resistant molds, etc.
