About This Product

OS-T is an improved ceramic coating made by adding silicon to titanium nitride (TiN). Compared to titanium nitride aluminum coating <TiAlN>, it has higher heat resistance and hardness, making it ideal for high-speed machining with carbide tools and machining of high-hardness materials with HRC40 or higher.

■Application examples of ceramic coating <OS-T>

Dry machining tools (high hardness materials), silica-containing resin cutting, dry cutting of high hardness materials with HRC40 or higher, etc.
