About This Product

TiN/Usmaku TiN is our standard titanium nitride coating that has been in use for over 30 years since our founding. It has a finer texture than other companies' ceramic coatings and has a good reputation for its beautiful film quality. It has an excellent balance of hardness, adhesion, and oxidation temperature, and is widely used as an easy-to-use general-purpose film in everything from tools and molds to machine parts. The thin film specification "Usumaku TiN" has a good surface finish and is ideal for thin punches and small diameter tools. (This is a coating based on special conditions, aiming for 1 micron on our test piece)
