About This Product

■What is a ribbon mixer? This is its structure and mechanism.

・The ribbon mixer has a ribbon shaft that passes through the U-shaped case. This shaft is generally called a ribbon shaft or a ribbon shaft, and has double wings like a rhythmic gymnastics ribbon. The input raw materials are stirred and mixed by these ribbon blades and then discharged. - Input raw materials are moved vertically and horizontally by rotating double ribbons to disperse and mix them. ・When viewed from the front of the mixer, the powder appears to move in a figure 8 pattern; when viewed from the side, it appears to move up and down along the body wall. *Rough mixing as well as highly precise mixing can be performed.

■Ribbon mixer that is easy to clean and maintain

・The main body casing is integrally welded and can be completely cleaned. ・The part in contact with powder has a mirror finish with no unevenness. ・There is no need for packing on the casing, and there is no powder left after cleaning. ・The entire inside of the main body casing is polished. ・Because the corners are curved, there is less mixing residue. ・Uses a special connection shaft for easy maintenance ・Effective capacity: 50 to 2,000 liters (2 cubic meters) ・Material: Stainless steel (SUS304, SUS316, SUS316L)

■Precautions when using the equipment

Makino Sangyo's ribbon mixer is proposed on the premise that raw materials are added after startup. This is because it reduces the load at startup and allows mixing with less power. Starting up after all raw materials have been added requires more power than is needed for mixing, mechanical strength of the casing, etc., equipment costs, and running costs. In order to cope with the load of operation after inputting raw materials, it is necessary to select a large-capacity motor, and the ribbon shaft needs to be thick enough to cope with the load, which increases equipment costs and reduces the power consumption of the motor during operation. Costs will also increase. Depending on the production process or raw material properties of your product, if it is necessary to start up after supply, or start and stop during operation, we can design and manufacture ribbon mixers with the power and mechanical strength that meet your needs.
