About This Product

If the raw material for fine aggregate contains light specific gravity substances that are unsuitable for concrete, these must be removed. Pumistrator is a device for removing light specific gravity substances that utilizes the power of nature and features low running costs and a compact structure. Not only wood chips and garbage, but also raw wood that does not float in water, pumice, volcanic ash, volcanic lapilli, coal debris, etc. are removed and turned into high-quality fine aggregate.

■Function

The light particles of the raw materials that are fed into the pumulator along with water ride on the appropriately adjusted upward flow in the specific gravity separation cylinder and overflow. This is poured into a screen (0.6mm mesh), and light specific gravity substances remain on the screen and are removed. The undersized sand that has passed through the screen is combined with the high-quality sand that has settled in the gravity separator and is fed into the next step, the classifier.
