About This Product

The QD series is the first 150mm system in Libec's history, and is a flagship model that we are proud to deliver.

■Smooth counter balance system

Libec's unique mechanism allows counterbalance adjustment with constant force until the end. We have adopted a foldable knob that is easy to turn.

■Counter balance meter

You can easily check the strength of the tightened spring.

■Highly safe horizontal locking mechanism

Tightly locks the tilt in the horizontal position to ensure safety when setting up your camera system. The design is designed with visibility in mind, allowing you to check the lock status at a glance, even from a distance. By using the BL-150, which comes with a flat base and 150mm ball, you can easily convert the flat base to a 150mm ball head.

■Importance of counterbalance

The most important thing when choosing the right head for your camera is determining the appropriateness of the counterbalance. Counterbalance is an important function that generates a force that exactly counteracts the force that tends to tilt the camera during tilting, and maintains the balance between the head and camera at any tilt angle. In a perfectly counterbalanced state, the camera can remain stationary even when you take your hand off the head, reducing stress when shooting and enabling precise camera control.
