About This Product

TAICROS® M is a trifunctional monomer with very low homopolymerization tendency and high thermal stability. Compared to other crosslinkers such as TAC and TAICROS®, it has a low vapor pressure at high temperatures and is stable in the presence of water and mineral acids.

■Main uses

TAICROS® M is an aid for peroxide or electron beam crosslinking of polymers at high processing temperatures. Crosslinking with TAICROS® M also improves the final product's resistance to high temperatures or aggressive media required in automotive, aerospace, mechanical, and chemical processing applications. Electron beam crosslinking of PA 6, PA 6.6, PA 12, or PBT improves compression set, E-modulus, aging properties, and chemical resistance. FKM's peroxide cross-linking improves the mechanical properties of products that must withstand highly aggressive media such as biodiesel (such as fuel hoses) and meet the highest automotive standards.
