About This Product

The CB conveyor is an unprecedented vertical conveyor, which significantly reduces installation space. It combines the flatness of a belt conveyor with the flexibility and force of a chain conveyor, and is characterized by its high conveyance rate. It is good at conveying chips that are difficult to convey with conventional shafted screw conveyors or hinge-type conveyors, and is especially good at conveying long curled chips. Since it can be used horizontally, vertically, and horizontally, it is easy to consider combining it with machine tools and peripheral equipment.

■Easy troubleshooting and recovery

If too many chips get inside the conveyor frame and it becomes stuck, extensive maintenance will be required. CB conveyors basically limit trouble points to one location, making it easier to troubleshoot. Additionally, chips that cannot be conveyed smoothly on the rising section of the CB conveyor will be stopped when overload is detected by the torque limiter and proximity switch. In this case, recovery can be easily achieved by removing the overload element by running in reverse.

■Less trouble factor

The fine chips that are discharged together with the curled chips are scraped up using the hook. Furthermore, when returning, it also works to scrape out fine chips that tend to accumulate at the bottom of the conveyor frame. The scraper function of the hook reduces the number of troubles.

■Effective use of space with vertical shape

Compared to the conventional 60 degree inclined type conveyor, our product can secure approximately 800 mm of space. This makes it possible to streamline the layout within the line and make effective use of conventional dead space.

■ Smoothly transports even curled chips.

The CB conveyor uses a specially constructed chain and resin belt assembly on the conveyance surface. The chains that run on both sides of the conveyor frame are connected by slats, and a resin belt is placed on top of the slats and secured by sandwiching them with claws for catching chips. Therefore, tension is not applied directly to the resin belt itself (load is not easily applied).

■Efficiently lifts chips

When the chips discharged to the horizontal section of the conveyor enter the vertical rising section, forward force and vertical force act on them. At this time, the belt itself has a structure that does not allow tension to be applied easily, so the belt flexes and the chips are lifted up by being wrapped around the frame (back plate) and belt.
