Ideal for tabletop, manual, and simple commercial use. It is maintenance free and can be used for a long time. Recorded contents can be easily erased by moving the magnetic tape back and forth. When you want to record something new on a magnetic tape or erase something that has already been recorded, you may have trouble erasing it completely. In particular, some modern magnetic tapes are difficult to completely erase. CTE-02b is a commercial eraser that uses a strong magnetic field to cleanly and completely erase any magnetic tape on the market by simply moving the magnetic tape on the top of the eraser.

■This is the point

A demagnetizer is also called an eraser or an eraser, and the Trim degausser was originally developed for the visually impaired at the request of the Japan Braille Library. Trim's degausser performs complete erasing, so no sys noise remains and the tape is erased to the state of unrecorded tape. Since then, CTE-01 and CTE-02 have been adopted by many welfare organizations and prefectures. The current CTE-02b is also used by people in the real estate and video industries to reuse video tapes, as it erases data to the point where it remains unrecorded.
