About This Product

■Product overviewCompletely erases video tapes and magnetic disks such as HDCAM and D2 tapes without image retention (100% demagnetization rate). HD video tape represented by HDCAM, SD video tape such as D2 tape, tape media such as music cassettes, LTO, magnetic disks such as MO and HDD, magnetic media that can be 100% degaussed with no afterimage / completely erased with simple operations. This is a compatible high-performance bulk eraser.

Main features
■Mass processing of HDCAM without image retentionThis is a high-performance bulk magnetic media erasing device that can process large quantities of high-coercivity, large-capacity, large-cassette HDCAM video tapes, which are mainly used by broadcasting stations, without image retention. All magnetic media can be completely erased, including tape media such as HDCAM, D2 tape, music tape, LTO, and magnetic disks such as MO and HDD.

■L size HDCAM: 400 files per hourThe electric slider inside the main unit has multiple magnetic field generating parts, and the slider moves left and right to scan the entire surface of the cassette, completing erasing in 9 seconds. The next cassette can be loaded while the slider returns to the starting position, so L size HDCAM can process 400 cassettes/hour, and S size 800 cassettes/hour (set of 2).

■Easy operationPlace the HDCAM etc. in the case on the top of the main unit. Press the START button and the green lamp will light up. Confirm that the red lamp is lit and erase the back side. Full demagnetization (complete erasure) is now complete.

When the power is turned on with the ON/OFF switch, you can completely erase it by simply pressing the START button. In this way, the DRE-02 is a high-performance bulk eraser that can be used fully automatically and continuously. Additionally, the main unit has a built-in lock key to prevent accidental erasure.

The leakage magnetic flux is at a level far below the 4KA/m specified in the World Health Organization (WHO) Environmental Conservation Standard 69, and is at a level that does not pose any problem to the human body even when electronic devices are used close to 0.1m. is not affected. For safety reasons, we recommend that pregnant women and those using pacemakers or hearing aids not use this service.
