About This Product

■Fume smoke extractor that maximizes filter life, reduces maintenance frequency, and is equipped with advanced functions Oracle iQ

BOFA's unique reverse flow technology, large-area deep pleat DUO pre-filter, and iQ operating system that provides optimal airflow control reduce running costs and reduce reliability. This is a compact local smoke exhaust system that efficiently removes fumes and suspended particulate matter generated during laser processing, helping to ensure a safe working environment.

■Need for smoke and dust collection

Airborne particulate matter that can be inhaled by workers must be removed from the work environment as it can cause damage to the bronchi and lungs. Most airborne particulate matter produced by laser processing is submicron-sized, which is the size that can be easily inhaled. Although it depends on the processing conditions, laser marking generates fumes of 1mg/sec, and laser cutting generates fumes of 10mg/sec or more.

■Filter technology

Highly efficient and economical filter technology that integrates BOFA's patented deep pleat DUO pre-filter and reverse flow method. Once the aspirated gas enters the prefilter chamber, it rapidly decelerates and relatively large particles fall to the bottom of the chamber. Only small diameter and light particles are captured by the pre-filter. Compared to the general method of sucking in from the top, this increases the filtration efficiency of the filter and extends the life of all filters.

■iQ operating system

The status of the pre-filter and main filter is monitored individually in real time, and when the filter needs to be replaced, an alarm and a warning display on the LCD will notify you of the exact replacement time. In addition, it is equipped with functions that are effective for preventive maintenance of the equipment, such as operating time log, temperature display, and filter clogging warning.
