About This Product

Achieves highly reproducible metal joining using a servo pressure mechanism developed for ultrasonic metal joining and excellent ultrasonic energy control.

■Servo press is specially developed for ultrasonic metal joining applications.

The high-rigidity servo press developed for ultrasonic metal joining achieves highly accurate load measurement with a mechanism that minimizes the influence of ultrasonic vibrations on the load detection section. Ultrasonic energy can be efficiently transmitted to the workpiece by feeding back load changes due to plastic deformation of the workpiece during machining and stabilizing the set load.

■Effective for quality control and quality assurance

The ultrasonic output and pressure applied to the workpiece during ultrasonic welding are constantly detected, and the distance that the workpiece is plastically deformed during the welding process is detected by fluctuations in motor pulses, so the quality of this data output from the equipment is determined. It can be effectively used for warranty and quality control.

■Advantages of ultrasonic metal joining using servo pressure control

Ultrasonic metal joining using innovative servo force control offers significant repeatability and reliability advantages over joining with traditional pneumatically driven pressure systems. In addition, it is possible to monitor the load and positional displacement of joints, and these parameters can be set as conditions for quality assurance. Another big advantage is that it can extend the life of tools that need to be replaced, such as horns and anvils. Pneumatically driven pressurization systems require excessive ultrasonic power with higher loads than necessary, leading to faster wear on these tools. With servo load control, the ultrasonic output is properly controlled through optimal load control.
