About This Product

A beautiful and strong washed-out finish can be easily applied.

■Usage/construction method・Mix 80% of the standard amount of water and the "base material" with ricin mazar, knead for about 10 minutes, then add the remaining water depending on the condition of the base and knead.
- Pour the base material and apply by tapping several times with a rubber trowel.
・Use the edge of a rubber trowel to scrape off excess material until the surface of the stone is exposed.
- After hardening, rub the surface with a brush dampened with a small amount of water to remove flax.
・Remove the flax on the surface with a wool roller.
・Wipe off the remaining flax with a sponge or rag.

■Features・It is also recommended for link stone renovation. The washed base material gets between the aggregates and strengthens the paved surface.
・Easy cleaning time and good workability.

■Applicable baseNewly constructed and existing "Link Stone M" (cannot be used in conjunction with anti-slip construction method), natural stone water permeable paving material similar to "Link Stone M"

■Notes・The washout base material is exclusively for "Link Stone M".
- If you are using the anti-slip construction method, you cannot wash it out because it cannot be scraped off with a rubber trowel or wiped off with a rag.
・Cannot be used in combination with natural stone. Be sure to pour it into new or existing natural stone permeable paving material.
・Please create a drainage slope of about 2% on the base. Discoloration may occur if installed in areas where water accumulates.
・Allow the base to dry completely. If the base is damp, such as when there is water in the voids in the link stone, it may cause discoloration, efflorescence, or lack of strength of the "washing base material for pavement".
- Completely remove dust, dirt, laitance, oil, etc. from the base.
- When installing a new "Link Stone M", please refer to the installation instructions for the product. Also, please start the washing process after making sure that "Link Stone M" has completely hardened and dried. Curing period: 12 hours or more in summer (after the next day), 48 hours or more in winter (1 to 2 days or more during middle school)
- Rust may appear on the surface due to the iron content in natural stone.
・Since the washout base material is cement-based, color unevenness may occur.
