About This Product

■Cheaper than ultrasonic type level switches. Optical level switch that uses infrared pulse modulation and is less susceptible to disturbance light.

・Measurement target: Interface between upper liquid and suspended sediment ・OPT type: Infrared pulse modulation method

■Features

・Both liquids are conductive, there is no difference in specific gravity, and even if the electrical resistance value is the same, the interface can be detected if there is a difference in transparency. ・Because it uses an infrared pulse modulation method, it is less susceptible to disturbance light. - Can be used to detect powders with low specific gravity (0.1 or less) that cannot be detected by mechanical or electrical methods. *Plastic fine powder, etc. ・Since the detection part is covered with FEP pipe, it has excellent chemical resistance and is less affected by deposits. ・Easy to change the interface setting position. ・With sensitivity adjustment function. - Cheaper than ultrasonic level switches.

■Applications

・Detection of interfaces in sewage treatment tanks in chemical and food factories, submerged sediments in water treatment equipment, and activated sludge, etc. ・Interface detection of two liquids with different transparency ・Detection of powders with low specific gravity that cannot be detected by mechanical or electrical methods (0.1 or less) (e.g. fine plastic powder)
