About This Product

■Achieving low price with performance according to the test

The grade of the solar simulator is determined by testing the solar cells. First, please let us know the details of your exam. We will guide you to the optimal performance according to the level of the exam. Solar simulators using xenon lamps have an optical system built in to more closely resemble the characteristics of sunlight, and a feedback system to improve the time fluctuation rate. Therefore, it is very expensive and the equipment is large. However, by specializing in durability tests, the SML-2K series has set new JIS grades such as "location unevenness class C," "time fluctuation rate class B," and "spectrum matching degree B class." It is now possible to maximize the effects of light resistance tests while minimizing maintenance costs.

■2,000 hours of continuous irradiation possible

In long-term tests, continuous irradiation time is a very important point for test efficiency. The AAA simulator uses xenon lamps, which have a lifespan of 1,000 hours. The SML-2K series uses metal halide lamps. The lifespan of this metal halide lamp is 2,000 hours, twice that of a xenon lamp. The lamp price is also cheaper than xenon lamps.

■Easy maintenance such as lamp replacement

The AAA simulator incorporates a ``lamp mounting adjustment mechanism'' and ``optical axis adjustment mechanism'' to keep the unevenness within ±2% (Class A). The SML-2K series eliminates these two functions, so once the lamp is installed, it can achieve positional variation within ±10% (C class) with almost no adjustment.
