About This Product

Fully automated color determination in food factories, etc. In-line color inspection device that can analyze color and texture without contact and determine pass/fail of color without stopping the production line.

■PPLB-600 Features

・Camera method enables non-contact measurement and color inspection without touching the inspected item ・It is possible to check "color distribution matching degree". Instantly compare the degree of agreement between the reference product and the inspected product. *Plot the color information for each pixel on an xy chromaticity diagram and check the degree of matching by checking the overlap of the integrated data. ・Easy to install on existing conveyor (discussion required) ・Space-saving installation possible ・Measurement results are stable, eliminating the burden of visual inspection on inspectors, and eliminating variations in inspection. ・Can also measure three-dimensional objects ・Two-dimensional measurement (surface measurement), chromaticity data can be obtained for each pixel

■Application example in a food factory Cookie baking color inspection Compare baking color with standard product to determine pass/fail

・Step 1: Obtain color data using the "most delicious-looking product" as the reference product. ・Step 2: Photograph the inspection item flowing on the line and instantly determine the color. ・Step 3: It is possible to judge whether a product is NG if the degree of match is less than the set value.

■What is color distribution matching?

This is a unique judgment method. Color information for each pixel in the measurement area is plotted on an xy chromaticity diagram and expressed as integrated data. The data of the reference product and the measurement target are compared, and the percentage of the total accumulated data that overlaps is called the "color distribution matching degree.
