About This Product

Equipped with a 12-megapixel camera-type colorimeter A color/pattern inspection device that can measure patterns. Capable of measuring the color of packages that include designs and patterns, inspecting color shifts and color unevenness of large-sized printed materials, and measuring three-dimensional objects.

■Features of PPLB-210

・Capable of measuring large samples such as posters -You can see the color comparison for each area at a glance. You can quickly compare ⊿E, ⊿L, ⊿a, and ⊿b values. It is also possible to load and compare saved data. ・Measurement is possible in two dimensions (plane). Measure the Lab value for each pixel. ・Highly versatile with upright type ・Measurement results are stable because it is a dark room space. ・Can also measure three-dimensional objects ・Color distribution matching degree can be compared ・Can be measured with the sensitivity of the human eye ・Two-dimensional measurement (surface measurement), chromaticity data can be obtained for each pixel

■What is color distribution matching?

This is a unique judgment method. Color information for each pixel in the measurement area is plotted on an xy chromaticity diagram and expressed as integrated data. The data of the reference product and the measurement target are compared, and the percentage of the total accumulated data that overlaps is called the "color distribution matching degree."

■PPLB-210 installation example

Example of implementation in print inspection Accurately determines color misalignment with the standard product in each area ・Step① Prepare standard products and inspection items. Inspect the color and pattern of the reference product in each area. ・Step ② The test results are divided into small areas and displayed on the monitor. ・Step③　The color difference and color distribution matching degree of each area will be displayed. ・Step ④ Quantify the color and texture for each area and inspect the degree of match with the standard product.
