■MTF MASTER IIT MTF Inspection Bench Image Intensifier Tube (IIT)

MTF MASTER IIT was specifically designed to classify the imaging quality of image intensifiers by the objective criterion of MTF (Modulation Transfer Function).

■Inside MTF MASTER IIT

MTF MASTER IIT was specifically designed to classify the imaging quality of image intensifiers by the objective criterion of MTF (Modulation Transfer Function). The object (haircloth) is projected onto the photocathode of the IIT with a defined resolution and light intensity. The image of this object on the IIT screen is evaluated by a high-resolution image processing system and its software. MTF MASTER IIT uses six motorized axes to automatically perform software-controlled MTF measurements at different positions on the IIT screen. All 6 motorized axes have 1μm resolution. In adjustment mode they can be controlled with a joystick. In measurement mode they move automatically and are controlled by software. ・MTF-accuracy ±0.04 ・MTF repeatability ±0.02 ・Measurement direction Vertical/Horizontal ・Measurement principle Edge, line, tangent/sagittal image evaluation ・Frequency range 0…..200 lp/mm

■MIT-MASTER IIT consists of four main components.

・Continuously adjustable lighting unit, software brightness control ・Reticle and high-resolution projection object generator with optics ・IIT-Mounting Unit Adjustable DC power supply (low, high voltage) (3-axis motor drive software control) ・Analysis unit (Microscope observation LWD object, 3-axis motor drive software control)
