About This Product

■New CLM optical test equipment

CLM is a system for measuring the geometric parameters of cylindrical lenses.

■Measurement parameters

・Wedge angle ・Difference between the center of the cylinder and the mechanical center ・Twisting between the center of the cylinder and the lens exit

■Displacement of cylinder center in transmission/reflection

This function measures the deviation between the apex side of the cylinder and the reference (lens exit). The specimen is placed at the stop of the X-Y table. The inspection head focuses the light on the center of the cylinder, so the reflected light appears as a line. The position of the line is precisely measured by the software. The specimen rotates 180 degrees and stops at the stop position on the table. Information about the deviation can be obtained by the deviation of the line position. It is also possible to measure transmittance.

■Torsion measurement between cylinder center and reference (lens exit)

This function measures the offset between the center of the cylinder and the reference (lens exit). This measurement is performed by moving the actual sample. Place the cylindrical lens on the table. The measuring head focuses the light on the center of the lens, resulting in a reflected pattern. Then move the sample around on the table. If there is a twist, the reflection pattern will move. This movement is precisely measured by the measurement position. The measurement results are calculated by software to calculate the twist angle. This measurement also allows transmittance measurements.
