■SURFTENS Universal

Reliable contact angle, SFE and surface tension measurement instrument with many options including motorized dispenser, multi-dispenser and tilting stage Improving the wettability of technical surfaces by special surface treatments is becoming increasingly common in industry and research. Therefore, it is essential to objectively and accurately measure the surface free energy before and after the modification process for process characterization, adjustment of technical parameters, and production control.

■Characteristics of the administration unit

・Optional equipment with manual or electric dosing system ・1 to 3 dosing systems per device - Manual and electric dosing systems can be combined ・Dosage repeatability 0.1μl ・Minimum dose 0.2μl - Optional motorized dosing arrangement compatible with both types of droplet dosing systems

・Zoom optical system ・Lift table, removable laterally (easy sample installation) ・The sampling table can be moved laterally and droplets can be placed next to each other. ・Bright and uniform long-life LED backlight ・Camera 1.3 megapixel ・Adjustable viewing angle (optional) - Manual Z-axis for precise height adjustment of the dosing system ・Diameter 100mm, height 40mm drive measuring table ・Fine movement drive for focusing of zoom optical system ・Fine drive for lateral displacement of the zoom optics (for centering the needle in the image field) ・Software for contact angle and FSE measurement of solids (according to DIN 55660-2: 2009-07) ・Manual or electric cross table (optional) ・Fully automatic measurement of contact angle with highest precision Software that includes a module to calculate surface free energy (SFE) using the contact angles of up to five test liquids
