About This Product

■Die inspection and microscopic measurement DIM

DIM is a wire drawing die metrology and inspection system with manual focus and measurement capabilities based on image processing. Manual focusing allows for a very competitively priced setup. However, DIM provides high measurement accuracy through image processing. Standard measurement functions include: ・Inner diameter of wire drawing die ・Cylinder roundness of wire drawing die DIM is a drawing die diameter and roundness measurement system. Measurements are made optically using image processing software. Due to manual focus, DIM is a very cost-competitive solution, but also offers high measurement accuracy. Furthermore, it is possible to visually inspect the wire drawing die using an eyepiece. The DIM is equipped with three measurement optics by default. Covers the measurement range from 0.1mm to 5mm in diameter. This software includes the ability to determine precise focus position. In cooperation with the software, the following measurement accuracy can be achieved.

・<0.4mm±3μm ・0.4 ~ 2.4mm±5μm ・2.4～5.0mm±10μm

■This software provides the following functions

・Display live video from the camera on the PC screen ・Automatic measurement of wire drawing die diameter and roundness
