DMS-M can be equipped with one measurement lens and five lenses that can be selected according to the diameter range. The measurement diameter range is 0.015mm to 15mm. Squeezing die diameter measurement is possible from a diameter of approximately 0.015. Non-contact, operator-independent measurement is suitable. Compared to the traditional method of first drawing the wire through a wire drawing die, the direct method is considerably faster and especially saves 1-2 operations. Therefore, the return on investment is less than one year.
The drawing die is manually inserted into the measuring device and recording begins with the press of a button. Initially, the measurement system is automatically focused and controlled by software. Results will be displayed on the monitor in approximately 5 seconds. If desired, results can be saved to a file or printed at any time. Because it is motorized, focusing is controlled by software and measurements are performed with high precision and high speed.
