About This Product

■Die shape measurement system DGMSDGMS is a measuring device for wire drawing dies, enameling dies, forming dies, wires, forming wires, and rods. DGMS has a modular design. The basic system can be upgraded with a number of additional hard and software modules. Measurements are performed optically using image processing. The DGMS system incorporates two objective lenses. Depending on the diameter range you want to cover, you typically choose between 0.4x and 4x or 1x and 10x combinations. The basic system is a fully equipped instrument ready for use. It has the following standard measurement functions.

・Diameter and roundness of wire drawing die and enameling die
・Aperture measurement for wire drawing dies and enamel dies (optional hardware and software modules can be added to add the following measurement functions)
・Reduction angle of drawing die
・Wire diameter and roundness
・Diameter of forming die, forming wire and rod

■Angle reduction measurementDGMS can be implemented with hardware and software to measure the reduction angle of wire drawing dies. This is an optional addition that can also be implemented during upgrades.

■Measurement of molding dieMolding dies can be measured with the addition of a software module. There are measurement capabilities available for standard shaped dies. For specially shaped dies, the software can adapt the shape and evaluation to the required parameters.

■Measurement of wires, formed wires and rodsWire measurements require additional fixtures to attach the wire. The wire holder will be attached to the universal holder used to fix the wire drawing die. A universal holder is included in the standard accessories of DGMS.

Besides additional wire holders, a software upgrade is also required. The software upgrade includes an additional measurement module that allows you to measure wire diameter instead of drawing die diameter. There are two options for wire holders.
