■RINGMASTER (accuracy standard)
Designed for non-contact measurement of the inner diameter of rings used in beverage can manufacturing. Measurements are made with a fully automatic, non-contact, easy-to-use, software-controlled optical system. Specially designed for the measurement requirements of iron-clad rings in beverage can manufacturing. Equivalent measurements can be applied without problems. The equipment is built on a superior mechanical structure, ensuring excellent ergonomics and operation.

■Measurement procedure
The ring to be tested is manually placed on the measurement surface. Position against two reference stops for accurate installation. The measuring surface is driven by a stepping motor and functions as a precision turntable. During the measurement, the ring under test rotates once 360°. Operator can select from 4 to 12 diameter measurements.
The software includes a specimen database from which the operator can select the desired test data. Additional test specimens can be added as needed. An optional measurement protocol can be provided for each measurement. When used properly, the RING MASTER is positioned to minimize operator error and prevent equipment damage.
■Preventing measurement errors by checking validity
Small changes in temperature can cause changes in the ring being tested and the measurement system itself. To maintain high measurement accuracy of the RING MASTER, temperature changes are alerted. Progressive calibration eliminates these temperature effects on internal equipment. Therefore the indoor/outdoor program is set under test temperature by software monitor. In addition, specimen position and cleanliness are checked by software.
